Wyne Su Khaing Thein is a Burmese singer and actress known for her warm, expressive vocals and her steady rise as one of Myanmar's most beloved pop artists. Born on December 24, 1986, in Yangon, she studied English at Dagon University before stepping into the entertainment industry in 2004. Five years later, in 2009, she released her debut studio album, "Mat Lout Sayar" (မက်လောက်စရာ), which struck a chord with audiences across Myanmar and quickly established her as a rising star in the local pop scene. The success of the album earned her the Best Selling Studio Music Album Female Vocalist of the Year award from City FM that same year — the first of many honors to follow.
